Shivamogga, Feb 24: The suspicion that the sketch to eliminate Harsha was being drawn up over the last some years is getting stronger by the day.
Harsha often created posters in support of Hindus and against Muslims. This had given rise to communal clashes a few times and quarrels had happened. In 2016, a complaint against him was filed after he created anti-Muslim poster in 2016. Harsha and Mohammed Kashif had come face to face when they were jailed. It is said that the two sides also had fought after coming out of the prison.
Harsha reportedly took a lead in distributing saffron shawls after the Hijab controversy broke out. This had angered the other side. On the day he was murdered, Harsha was closely followed by the said gang right from the afternoon hours, it is said. Harsha and his friends had not taken this seriously. A friend revealed that on the day he was murdered, Harsha had received calls from two girls. These two girls who repeatedly called even after he was murdered, claimed themselves to be his friends. Harsha wanted to know what they expect from him and asked his friends who these girls were. He left with his friends and within minutes he was murdered, the friend said. He also said that one of the accused used to move around Seegehatti area, wait here and there and closely monitor the movements of Harsha. These things go on to prove that an elaborate plan was hatched to eliminate Harsha, sources said.
After the murder, Harsha's phone went missing. People wonder whether this phone could be with the killers. The police have arrested eight accused so far and hope to unravel mysteries in the case at the earliest.
