Blockbuster Tulu movie 'Soda Sharbath’ all set to release in Qatar

Mangaluru, Feb 24: Blockbuster Tulu movie 'Soda Sharbath’ is all set to release in Qatar on Friday, February 25. 

The PBP Films, in a media release, said that after India, the movie received a huge response from the audience after it was released in UAE. Now the production house is  going to release 'Soda Sharbath’ in Qatar. Initially, two shows are planned at Asia Town Plaza Cinema at 3 PM and 6 PM.

Earlier the movie was released in India and had completed 50 days in theaters in coastal Karnataka. The UAE release also set a benchmark in the Tulu movie industry by selling all show tickets two days before release. The movie was a huge success among the viewers with its storyline and comedy.

The cast of the movie includes doyens of Coastalwood Devadas Kapikad, Aravind Bolar and Bhojaraj Vamanjoor. Along with them youth popular artistes Umesh Mizar, Prasanna Shetty Bailoor, Deepak Rai Panaje, Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli, Bale Telipale artistes, Konkani movie artistes Mellu Valencia, Laveena Fernandes and Godwin Moodubelle have acted in this movie. 'Private Challenge' fame Walter Nandalike is featured in the film in a pivotal role. 

The story and screenplay are written by Pradeep Barboza, who shot to fame with his directorial venture, Konkani movie ‘Ek Aslyar Ek Na.’ He has directed and produced the movie under his banner PBP films. Ganesh Nirchal who has done the editing for movies like ‘Kanasau Maratakkide’ and ‘Katapadi Kattappa’, has edited this movie. Young talent Santhosh Gumpalaje has worked behind the camera. The music is directed by Patson Pereira of Mangaluru. Thyagaraj and Neetu Neenad have done playback singing for this movie.
