Mangaluru, Feb 26: Ullal Veerarani Abbakka Utsava Samiti and supporters had given a call for a strong protest in the light of the delay in laying the foundation stone for the proposed construction of Abbakka Bhavan.

The protest site witnessed heated arguments at the protest called for by Ullal Veerarani Abbakka Utsav Samiti and fans as BJP and Hindu organization activists opposed the foundation laying programme on Saturday February 26. The local MLA too argued with the activists.

MLA U T Khader termed the protest staged by the BP activists when the BJP government is in office as ridiculous. He made fun of them by commenting that instead of holding the protest, they could have got the project cancelled by the government. He said that Abbakka Bhavan has to be built at an early date and funds for the same had been earmarked when he was the district in-charge minister. He expressed dissatisfaction at the undue delay in taking up the construction.

District in-charge minister was absent for the foundation laying ceremony.

‘Empty mind is a devil’s workshop’ . I find it difficult to understand how do they find so much time to protest on each and every issue. Is there no other option but to protest . If all were working in a 9 to 5 job then the scenario would have been different. If a little time was spent in sharpening their mind with world knowledge then these protesters would not be on the streets. This is only because they all have to depend only on pakora frying. We have to extend our pity for them all.

Why BJP govt delayed laying the foundation stone for Rani Abbakka foundation?. So, why now these govt’s own goons are protesting to oppose laying foundation stone for Beary Bhavan?. Why these goons are not fighting with thier own govt about this issue instead?. Is delaying and disrespecting Rani Abbakka is more important for this govt for its political gain and to create opportunities for unrest in the society?. Now finally don’t blame bearyies for chaos in the society!?.

Abbakka Bhavan foundation stone will be laid before the next election. As you know BJP doesn't have anything to promise during the next election and hence it is kept pending. Please understand.

Mr. Kader is matured politicians. Why BJP and its affiliated organisation are protesting for the delay of Abbakka Bhavan. when BJP government is at the State and Centre. These groups should seen that BJP government should pass the order for the construction of Abbakka Bhavan. Jealously is not the answer.
