Udupi: Two students from Ukraine to reach home soon, five still stranded

Udupi, Feb 27: Two students of Udupi origin out of the seven who were stranded in Ukraine are now on the way to their motherland.

The stranded duo has reached Romania and will be reaching India soon, the district administration said.

The Udupi district administration has shared the latest updates about all the stranded students of the district.

Mrunal (19) of Udyavar has already boarded the flight to Delhi and will be reaching Delhi by Sunday, February 27 evening at 6 PM.

Niyam Raghavendra (20) of Parkala has also crossed Romania border and will be touching the home land soon.

The remaining five of the students are yet to receive assistance to return.

They are Glenwell Fernandes from Kemmannu, Anifred Ridly D'Souza from Kallianpur, Rohan Dhananjay Bagli from Brahmavar, Nandini Arun and Ankitha Poojary are still stranded in war hit Ukraine.
