Bantwal, Jan 9: “God has made us his children through the sacrament of baptism. Today we all thank God as a parish community for his innumerable blessings. Let us encourage our youth, ‘God’s young face’ to give witness to Christ” said Fr Joseph Uday Fernandes, assistant director St Anthony’s Charity Institution.
He was the main celebrant of the festal mass concelebrated by Fr Roque D’souza, Fr Ivan D’souza and Fr Stany D’Souza at Infant Jesus Church, Modankap here. After the eucharist there was a solemn eucharistic procession.
Large number of people prayed to Infant Jesus. It was indeed a great day for local people. Parish Pastoral Council members helped in conducting procession with great devotion.
