Mangaluru: Two peddling ganja at Someshwar beach arrested

Mangaluru, Feb 28: Ullal police station personnel arrested on Monday February 28, two men peddling ganja at Someshwar sea shore and seized the drug from them.

The arrested are identified as Afrid (22), a resident of Melangadi, and Ashfan (25). Police raided them after receiving definite clues and seized ganja weighing 1.100 kg from them.

There were complaints for some time of gangs from Kerala bringing ganja from across the border and selling it to students and others.

The operation was conducted under guidance from Mangaluru south ACP Dinaker Shetty on directions of inspector Sandeep by PSI Shivakumar, Revanna, Siddayya, staff Ranjith, Chidanand and Vasudev.
