Mangaluru: KEBA’s open air theatre backed by Dr Ronald Colaco inaugurated

Mangaluru, Mar 1: NRI entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr Ronald Colaco’s kindness was on full display yet again as he wholeheartedly donated for the newly built open air theatre of Karnataka Electricity Board Engineers’ Association (KEBA). The venue was inaugurated on Sunday February 27.

Dr Colaco was felicitated on the dais of the open air theatre. He had donated funds for building the open air stage, dining room, two separate rooms for use of bride and bridegroom and washrooms, kitchen, pantry, toilet and financial help for the infrastructure.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Colaco said, “I have provided financial assistance to various departments of Karnataka state. Energy department is also one of the important departments of the government. So I have provided the assistance on the appeal of the engineers of the department. In future during the construction of stadium also I will give financial assistance.”

Dr Colaco’s years of overall contributions to the economic and corporate sector, his social and philanthropic works are recognised throughout the world. He has been the recipient of a number of national and international awards in recognition of his charitable and philanthropic activities.

As many as 800 engineers all over the state took part in the event.

    Congratulations KEBA for providing an Open-air theatre for the current generation, it is the need of the hour. Thank you Dr. Ronald Colaco for generously contributing to the project which will help the common people. You have helped numerous similar projects but we are as a society not in a position to repay it in any means but surely pray to the Almighty to bless you and your family abundantly always.
