"Only we had the examination on Thursday. When we were writing the examination, a senior student of the college, Sai Sandesh, identified with Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), began to bring pressure on the principal seeking our ouster from the examination rooms. When the principal initially ignored him, the student began to speak against the principal and in association with other students, created a fuss. After he applied further pressure, the principal permitted for sending us out of the examination room. He also got the police personnel into the examination room and sent the girl students who were appearing for the examination with Hijabs, out of the rooms" she has claimed.
Hiba Shekh said that the police also threatened a student, Shahina, who was writing the examination, by saying that his signature can bring her student life to an abrupt end.
The student said that the principal had signed the letter permitting the girl students to appear for the examination initially but later he falsely claimed that no such permission letter was given. The students said that the said ABVP leader and the police who came there issued warning to the girl students.
