Kadaba: Thieves steal cash, ornaments worth lacs of rupees

Kadaba, Mar 4: Thieves who entered a house in Gandibagilu in Koila village in the taluk, made good their escape along with gold ornaments and cash totally worth several lacs of rupees kept by the family in an almirah. The theft happened on the night of Thursday March 3.

Abubakker resides near the Gandibagilu mosque. The thieves were able to take away 14 sovereigns of gold ornaments and Rs 42,000 in cash. The thieves made use of the opportunity which they got to enter the house, as the family members had locked their house at 7 pm and went to attend Dhikr Halqa programme organized on Thursday night at Athoor mosque. They came back at around 11 and found that their house had been burgled.

Deputy superintendent of police Gana T Kumar, police circle inspector Umesh Uppalike and others visited the spot and scrutinized the details. A case was registered in Kadaba police station and an investigation has been launched.

    It must be insiders job who knew what is inside or where they are going etc.Just hear about in neighbourhood .First of all why keep so much gold and money at home?When go somewhere dont keep it in Almeira.But somewhere else.common is Cupboard.change it.Hope they will find out.
