Canberra, Mar 4: Legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne has died of a suspected heart attack at the age of 52.

As per a statement given to Fox News by Warne's management firm, he passed away in Thailand of a suspected heart attack.

"Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived," the statement read.

"The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course," it added.

Arguably the greatest leg-spinner of all-time, Warne claimed 708 Test wickets in his 15-year career between 1992 and 2007.

Warne made his Test debut against India in Sydney in 1992 and followed it with an ODI debut against New Zealand in Wellington in March next year.

Warne, who was chosen as one of Wisden's Five Cricketers of the Century, finished his ODI career with 293 wickets. He also played a key role in Australia's ODI World Cup triumph in 1999.

Cricket spin bowler delivered the "Delivery of the century to Mike Gatting in 1993" . Thereafter earned the fame of record achiever for Australia with more than 700 test wickets, second in the world after Sri Lankan cricketer Mutthaya. Regrettable fact is, within few days Shane Warne (53) and Rodney Marsh (75) passed away. Both gave best cricket to the cricket world and to their team Australia. Rest In Peace, Shane and Rod.

May his soul rest in peace. I'm deeply saddened by the untimely departure of one of the greatest legend among spinners. E A S Prasanna of India had the variety in each delivery in every ball bowled in an over with his offspin but among leggspinners only Shane Warne had that ability. Australia is the most strictest country which even deported Djokovic for refusing vaccines as he had covid before and had lifetime immunity. I won't mention anymore why we are losing fit athletes and youngsters again and again, I hope people are wise enough not to believe vaccine companies or governments propaganda of being SAFE.
