Udupi, Mar 5: A woman, aggrieved by the fact that her husband has divorced her through triple talaq all of a sudden, and cheated her, has filed a complaint against her husband and his family members in the women's police station here.

The couple had lived together for 15 years before the man left his first wife and married another lady.

Shehanaz, daughter of Usman from Ambagilu here had married Mohammad Yousuf, son of Mayyaddi from Thenka Yermal in 2006. The couple has a son. Later, Yousuf reportedly kept pressurizing his wife often to bring money or get out of the house. She said that Yousuf used to pester her and assault her. After this, Shehanaz began to live with her father's family.

Recently, Yousuf told Shehanaz's father that he was divorcing Shehanaz through triple talaq and that he has decided to marry Zeenat from Krishnapura. Shehanaz who has claimed that this is cheating, has complained against her first husband, Yousuf, and people who helped the accused to marry a second time, Altaf, Siraj, Ayesha, Nafeesa, Hassan and Zeenat.
