Hubballi: CM Bommai welcomes Ukraine returnee Chaithra with bouquet

Daijiworld Media Network - Hubballi (MS)

Hubballi, Mar 6: Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai welcomed with a flower bouquet, Chaithra who was stranded in Ukraine. Chaithra gave a vivid picture of Ukraine Russian war and the devastation on her return to her home district.

Speaking on the occasion, Bommai said, “Chaithra was studying third year MBBS in Ukraine. Many students were trapped there. Chaithra was also stuck in a bunker there. From there she walked for 5 km and the embassy officials brought her back to India."

“Chaithra’s family was worried about her but the district administration had instilled confidence in them. Chaithra has returned safely by the grace of God. More than 200 students are still stuck in Ukraine. The Indian embassy is helping them. Prime minister Narendra Modi himself is monitoring the situation. Airlifting is being done on a huge scale. Five bordering nations have excellent relations with PM Modi. In addition, the process of bringing back the mortal remains of Naveen is also going on.”

Chaithra, who returned after lots of difficulties, said, “I am grateful to the state and union government. The embassy of our country has helped a lot. It brought us to our motherland after crossing Ukraine border. I have spent eight days in a bunker.”

Clifford, Mangalore: Its not five bordering nations of India. Bordering nations of Ukraine he is talking about. Our mindset is finding every wrong thing. Dont want to appreciate anything anytime if opponent is doing good also. Praise everything for supported party, even if they do wrong.

Every Indian student in Ukraine is not evacuated as BJP were busy with UP elections. Yesterday more than 200 students were on TV pleading to be rescued. This is all propaganda by BJP.

Evacuation of its nationals is BJP govt’s world history record. No other country has done this photo operation for vote bank publicity. This student has parroted the sentence from the govt to repair BJP’s deteriorating image of disastrous operation of bringing back nationals. Don’t politicize your duty and responsibility.
