Bengaluru: Coastal belt, some other parts to get rainfall till March 12

Bengaluru, Mar 8: The meteorological department has predicted rainfall in different parts of the state during the next five days. It said that this untimely rainfall is expected to happen because of an area of depression created over the Bay of Bengal. On March 8, Bengaluru city, Bengaluru rural, Chamarajanagar, Chikkaballapur, Kolar and Ramanagara districts are expected to get rainfall.

From March 9 to 12, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan and a few areas in Kodagu district are likely to get rainfall. From March 10 to 12, some places in Udupi, Uttara Kannada and Dakshina Kannada districts may get rainfall. Some areas in Bagalkot, Belagavi, Dharwad, Haveri, Gadag and Vijayapura districts might get rainfall on March 11 and 12, the department stated.

On Monday, the lowest temperature of 15 degree Celsius was recorded in Davanagere while Karwar registered highest temperature of 36.8 degree Celsius.
