Mangalore, Jan 19: Well known entrepreneur and cricket player Rathan Kumar inaugurated the football tournament organized by Dakshina Kannada district football association in memory of Late Benjamin D’Souza.

Dr Santhosh D’Souza, son of Benjamin D’Souza, physical education director of Mangalore University was the chief guest. D M Aslam, president of Dakshina Kannada district football association welcomed. Secretary Mohammed Hussein Bolar compered the programme. Vijay Suvarna, Anil P V, Umesh Uchila, Usman Moideen and Kasim were present.
 
Result
 
Tippu Sulthan College won the match by 1-0 defeating Badriya college team. In the 10th minute of second half, U P Asif scored the goal and brought victory to the team.
