Panaji: Photo Journalist Assn Goa Condemns Attack on a Member by Vegetable Vendor

Panaji, Jan 20:  The Photo Journalist Association Goa (PIAG) condemned the attack on a fellow photojournalist of Dainik Gomantak by a vegetable vendor, one Hyder Ali while discharging duties in the Panaji Municipal market on Wednesday January 19.

A photojournalist had gone to the market to click photographs of vegetable on the request of his reporter, while he was clicking photographs the vendor along with his other friends attacked him, somehow he managed to escape from the site and called police for help.

The Panaji police upon registering a formal complain by the photojournalist arrested the accused. Further investigation has been carried out under the guidance of Sandesh Chodankar.
