Mangaluru, Mar 18: Sadashiv (58), assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of traffic east police station of the city succumbed to injuries he received in an accident.
Sadashiv from Kulur, was injured in a road accident at Kuntikan on March 14 while on duty. He was admitted into a hospital and died due to the grievous nature of the injuries he received during the accident.
Ceremonial guard of honour for the deceased ASI will be held at CAR premises at 4 pm on Friday March 18.
Police commissioner N Shashi Kumar also expressed his condolences for the deceased cop through a tweet.
