Riyadh, Mar 19: At the Expo 2020 Dubai exhibition, pavilion set up by Saudi Arabia won an award within the best pavilion category. In addition, it was also awarded two honorary awards after the selection was done by Exhibitor magazine.

Honorary award in the best exterior design and best display were awarded to the Saudi pavilion in addition to best pavilion category in large suites.

The Saudi pavilion created three Guinness World Records in the exhibition for longest interactive water curtain with a length of 32 meters, largest interactive light floor and largest interactive digital screen mirror or more than 1240 square meters.

For nearly 30 years Exhibitor magazine is organizing world fairs and selects the pavilions for various awards at any given large scale exhibition. It has a committee of international experts on events, marketing and design who evaluate each pavilion on various factors.

The pavilion of Saudi Arabia gave the visitors an unique experience of the country’s past, present and future by using technology mixed with creative arts and knowledge that reflects the growth of the kingdown and prosperity in all fields. Record number of visitors thronged the pavilion of Saudi Arabia at Dubai Expo 2020. The numbers have crossed four million since the launch of the exhibition in October 2021.
