Mangaluru: Leading CA Muralimohan Bhat passes away at 52

Mangaluru, Mar 19: CA Muralimohan Bhat, a leading chartered accountant breathed his last on the evening of Friday March 18. He was 52.

After a brilliant academic background, Bhat started practice as a CA in Mangaluru in 1994. From 2005 as the head of the Mangaluru branch of the famed CA firm M/s Manohar Chaudhari & Associates, he conducted the Statutory Audit of Corporation Bank, Karnataka Bank Ltd, MRPL, OMPL, NMPT, KIOCL, MSEZ Ltd, and Mangaluru Smart City Ltd besides a lot of national level enterprises. He served the managing committee of the Mangaluru branch of ICAI for six years and served as its chairman in 2012-13 with distinction.

He was also an active Rotarian. He participated in a lot of TV debates and talk shows.

His last rites were conducted by his father on Saturday March 19 at Beedinagudde Crematorium.

Bhat has left behind his wife Vaishali, daughter Dr Roopali, aged parents and a very big group of admirers.

His untimely demise is a great loss to the CA fraternity and the business community of Mangaluru and Udupi.

    Dear Family Members, On behalf of Y1990 St Aloysius College batch-mates, please accept our heartfelt condolences on untimely demise of our classmate/friend Muralimohan. He has certainly left a vacuum in the family and in society. During the academic year 1988-89 he was part of College Student Council , he was very studious and had secured Bcom, 2nd rank at Mangalore University. May His Soul Rest In Peace.

    RIP, Vaccine Karma ? So many sudden deaths still no enquiry but vaccine promotion to 12 to 14 years who are less likely to get severe covid that too different vaccine for them. So another strain comes up and spreads with this new vaccine it is not surprising.

    After the entry of Covid-19 a lot many people below 60 have died suddenly mysteriously, I know of many people in my family and friends circle who have died or fallen seriously ill from blood clots in the brain and heart! Those jabbed have again got the infection in a more serious form and perished!
