Mangaluru, Mar 19: A man was arrested on the accusation of outraging the modesty of a young woman, who was his co-passenger in the bus.
Wajid A Jamakhani, native of Haveri, is the person who is arrested by the police.
According to the complaint filed by the young girl, victim of the incident, she was travelling on a KSRTC bus from Sullia to Mangaluru on the afternoon of Saturday March 19. A man who was sitting next to her in the same seat behaved in an indecent manner with the girl and outraged her modesty.
The victim girl duly filed a complaint in Kankanady city police station and the police arrested the accused.
