Mangaluru: Exhibition of unique Holy Crosses, Marian items inaugurated

Mangaluru, Mar 19: A two-day exhibition of unique Holy Cross and Marian statues was inaugurated at Urwa church hall on Saturday March 19. The exhibition is coordinated by Fr Ivan Madtha and organized by Urwa parish pastoral council and parishioners.

The exhibition will also continue on March 20 from 6:30 am to 12 pm.

In the Holy Cross exhibition, there are more than 500 unique Crosses from various regions, cultures and denominations. While in Marian exhibition, there are rosaries, scapulars, medals, icons, wall pictures, craft, artefacts and literature on Mother Mary.

Fr Ivan Madtha is collecting rosaries since two years from various nations, culture, people and shops. There are rosary collections from European countries, Egypt, Israel, Palestine and other countries.

Fr Ivan Madtha also informed that an exhibition will be conducted at Mai De Deus Church in Puttur on April 1 and 2.
