Mangaluru, Mar 24: The national level inter-collegiate cultural competition of 'Mangalore Physiocon' was held in Town Hall Mangaluru on March 24 as a part of the International Conference 'Mangalore Physiocon' which will be held on March 25 and 26 at Dr TMA Pai hall, Mangaluru.
'The Mangalore Physiocon' organised by South Canara Physiotherapy teachers Association conducted the Preliminary Round of 'Inter Collegiate Cultural Competition'. There were around 34 teams from all over india participating in the cultural fest out of which 15 teams will be selected for the finale. the finale of inter collegiate cultural competition is scheduled on March 25 6.00 pm at Dr TMA Pai convention centre, Mangaluru.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr AliIrani, chairman, International Affairs, Indian Association of Physiotherapists; guest of honour Dr Divyanjali Shettyordinator of cultural committee of Mangalore Physiocon Dr Afeefa were present.
A day long programme showcased dazzling performances that lit up the serene atmosphere with different dance forms like contemporary, classical, western and skits depicting current social issues. The cultural event was judged by Nirikisha Shetty model and actress and Nidhi Maroli model and actress of coastalwood.
