Kundapur, Jan 25:
Mythreyi Amma who came to India from her motherland France in the year 2000 chose south India to find a ‘Guru’.

Her search landed her in Kollur. She trekked and climbed up higher to visit the 'Sarvajna Peetha’ where it is said that Sri Shankaracharya had meditated. She visited a grotto located there and asked for drinking water. Where, venerated saint of Kerala, Shree Tathata used to stay. He gave her the water and quenched her thirst. According to Mythreyi Amma that was the turning point in her life. She asserts that the water which was given by Tathata was not mere drinking water, besides it was ‘punya theertha’ which quenched her thirst for spiritual sentiments.

Mythreyi is a mother of two children. It has been a long time she took ‘Deeksha’ from Shree Tathatha. She was born in 1952. She grew up in Normendy in France. But her thirst for spirituality made her as an Indian. She says she did not have any clarity about her life until she landed up in Shree Kshetra Kollur.

Prior to this she had visited north India for about two times. She roamed on the bank of River Ganga during her visit to Varanasi in 1996. She had served many orphan children who were living in streets. Those days she also consulted many saints to find a ‘Guru’ for her.

It is interesting to study about the meeting occasion of Shree Tathatha and Mythreyi. Shree Tathatha has many followers. The true name of Tathatha is Narayana. Narayana was born at Vandithavalayam village of Palakkad district in Kerala state in the year 1942. He had left home when he was seven years old and involved in spiritual achievements. He visited many holy places in North India. After practicing meditation in ancient cave monasteries of the Himalayas for many years, he identified himself as ‘Shree Tathatha’. He is a devotee of Kollur Shree Mokambike and when he had come to Kollur in the year 1993, he was keen to build an ‘Ashrama’. But it took a long time and finally a Dharma Peeta Dhyana Kendra was built in 2006.

Later many devotees came and became his disciples. Mythreyi Amma is one among such followers. As per the direction of her Guru, Mythreyi has been promoting his philosophy through preaching them in abroad. She has also been conducting Yoga and Santsanga camps. She also opened branches in Italy, France, Jakarta and Japan and took her ‘Guru’ to France in 2007. An Ashrama of Shree Tathatha named ‘Kavi Udyana’ is also opened in abroad.

Dhyana Kendra: A dhyana Kendra which was built fours years ago in a five acres land in Kodachadri was inaugurated on January 19. This unique Dhyana Kendra which has entry from four directions is constructed as per the directions of Shree Tathatha and this structure is a special architecture. Spacious landscape inside the dhyana Kendra also accommodates number of devotees to pray.

Now we are in 2011 still some people can’t understand or change their mentality.
Please let me know which River gives the Hindu water or Muslim water or Christian water or Sikh water, which Cow gives your religion’s Milk, which Blood bank have group of religious blood? Which currency has religion? The use of Water, the taste of Milk, the use of Blood & the value of currency are same for all the Religion.
Did you notice when a Baby is born, you wrap it with a White colour cloth & when a person dies also the body will be covered with white cloth. Does this white colour fabric have any religion?
One more thing I noticed, most of all the religion’s holy places people will wear white coloured cloths. Even the Religious leaders wear white cloths.
Why because White is the symbol of Peace & Purity.

Then why you people worry about religion,? Worry about humanity. Humanity is first & religion comes next. Religion is made by man for their selfishness. When you are hungry you never ask for any religious food from a particular religion’s shop, what ever you get you just eat. But when you celebrate feast you think of religion. Never think of the poor & forget humanity. Try to share a little with others & experience the happiness.

I do not think there is any other country in the world which has religions like India. Hinduism,Buddhism,Jainism,Sikhism,Islam,Christianity,Zorastrainism (Parsis),Judaism - there could be many more. There is something magical in the soil and atmosphere of India. God has surely Blessed this land. To the best of my knowledge, though foreigners have attacked India, India has never attacked other countries. India is considered a peaceful nation because the vast majority of the people love peace. May God continue to Bless this land.

Shail/Mangalore.....You are absolutely right. One need not be good person becuae he is Hindu, Christian or Muslim. One need not to be a good human becuase he/she pray God everyday according to respective religion. But defenitely be a good human who is clean from the heart and pray for everybody in this world.

Grass is Always Green on other side of the fence. While we look to the west, they look to the east for something different.
For many westerners religion is some faith of their forfathers in which they were born, not by choice-So they visit church only 3 times in their lifetime. Once they were taken to the church for Baptism, 2.For getting married, 3. They were again taken for their last right(funeral), unless they leave a will behind-stating otherwise. In between they are immersed in this material world. This is where Western Churches have failed to impart the true spirituality of Middles Eastern Christianity they adopted many centuries back.
Those people who find the reason for their existence in their own religion-never need to look for it or search for it anywhere else. Finally its ones own quest to know more about God & spirituality which leads them to search for it in different places & regions.

Well said Mr. Louis D'Souza, Udupi, Kuwait. Though I am non Christian, I have lot of Christian friends and I cherish their friendship for their forgiving nature, generosity, kindness, intelligence, tolerance, understanding, selfless & silent service, etc. etc. In whole of my life, no one has ever influenced me to convert to christianity. It is a pleasure to spend my time in their company, especially during their festivals. They celebrate and enjoy their festivals without disturbing/hurting others, where as every festival of other religions are causing troubles to others by sound of crackers, throwing ugly colors, etc. etc. God bless my Christian friends.

Every Human being has the right to adopt the religion which he/she chooses to be. Only Christians do not oppose when Christians convert to any other religion. But some Hindus cries a lot and make a big issue of it, even burns people alive.. That’s the spiritualism of Christianity n makes lots of difference too. During my Dec visit I saw many foreigners in Kundapur, wearing saris n all. Let the world know that India is a peace loving country.

Shail, I understand from your comments, "Different Gods in Hinduism is only the defferent power of one God." meaning, even Hindus do not have a image of the One God. Please correct me if I am wrong.

If the above is true, even christianity and Islam also do not have the picture/pictures or Images of the God.

As said by Shamsher, Dubai religion is humanity. if you are a good human, then that is ur religion.

I hope people will give less importance to religion and more importance to be a good human being, which also is a teaching of all religions.

I personally belive in the God, having no No name, Nor Image or Form, known to humans. Except be a good human

It definetly goes prove that comments of Vinod Kumar, Manglaore/Mumbai, make sense, Religions are man made.

Many foreigners come to India in search of enlightenment and Spiritualism because they may be fed up with materialism. Ultimately one change ones life and attitude in search of God. In the past history we see many materialist intelletcuals famous and rich turned into spiritual human beings / gurus and became saints, in all the religions/faiths. So whatever If one lives a good life with the chosen religion thats life's fulfilment and need not change one's religion at all.

In spiritualism for the one who is enlightened there is only God.

Religion plays no role in their life.

Enlightened people have been born throughout history and guided the way of Life.

    Religion is man made.

Tony..first and foremost she is a human. for attaining spirituality you don't need to be in any religion. spirituality is finding peace in oneself and getting into full control of our thoughts. for this you need to have full faith on yourself and a true Guru who ever you to be. Spiritualism is not a property of Hinduism but it a property of entire civilization..

So we allow her to have her religous identity as followed by her parents irrespective of whom she worships.. ultimately we all worship for the same god in different forms. God is omnipotent and he is called in different names.. like we call Mother in english, mata in hindi, amma in south indian language.. finally we all know we are calling mother in different names.
