Salaries of Mangalore University's guest lecturers hiked

Mangaluru, Mar 25: The salaries of the guest lecturers serving in the college units and postgraduate centres of Mangalore University have been increased.

Guest lecturers having UGC educational qualification will get Rs 40,000 per month while the others will receive Rs 35,000.

The salary has been hiked by an average of ten to fifteen thousand rupees from February onward.

In a release, Mangalore University Guest Lecturers Association termed this as an important and welcome decision of the university.
