Panaji: Sawant invites people to partake in swearing-in ceremony

Panaji, Mar 25: The new government of Goa will be sworn in on Monday. CM designate Pramod Sawant appealed to people to attend the swearing-in ceremony.

Sawant said that it is a big event for BJP. He along with Sadanand Shet Tanavade, state president of BJP visited Shyama Prasad Mukherjee stadium to monitor the works that are on for the swearing in ceremony.

All religions heads of the state will receive official invitation according to information shared by Sawant to the media. In addition, he also said that event is open to the public.

Anyone who wishes to be part of the ceremony should enter the stadium before 10 am. Sawant also said that the opposition party MLAs will also be invited for the function.

The CM designated said that people should attend in large numbers and consider that this is their own party. PM Modi and home minister Amit Shah will also be attending the event. Almost all the CMs of states which are ruled by BJP will also attend the ceremony.

According to Tanavade, more than 10000 people are expected for the swearing in ceremony on Monday.
