Beltangady, Mar 26: D Krishna, a Sangh Parivar activist and BJP leader, who was n judicial custody for long relating to the murder of Dinesh Kanyadi in Dharmasthala village, has succeeded in securing bail from the district court. The said murder case had made state level headlines.
Dinesh used to run a business near Ram Mandir, Kanyadi. It is said that Krishna, another businessman there, got angry at Dinesh as he believed that Dinesh had made public the information about the registration of a land belonging to Krishna. Krishna was accused of attacking Dinesh on February 23. The video of the attack had become viral on social websites. Dinesh's condition turned worse and he was admitted into the Wenlock Hospital Mangaluru for treatment. However, on the same night, Dinesh breathed his last, without responding to treatments.
On the very next day, Dinesh's mother, Padmavathi, filed complaint in Dharmasthala police station, alleging that this was a murder committed by Krishna. Dharmasthala police had arrested the accused. He has secured bail now.
