Baidarkala Nemotsav Held at Devulapada

Mumbai, Jan 28: Baidarkala Nemotsav was held at Devulapada, Borivli (East) overnight from Tuesday January 25 to Wednesday January 26. Om Sri Jagadishwari Seva Samiti has been organizing the Nemotsav over the past 36 years.

Local MLA Gopal C Shetty, All India Billava Association president Jaya C Suvarna, metro-based Billavar Association vice-president Nithyanand D Kotian, honorary chief secretary Jyothi K Suvarna, BJP leader L V Amin, Congress leader Ashok Sutrale, social activist Kamalesh Shetty, Praveen Dharekar, entrepreneur N Nithyanand, Nerul Ramesh Shetty, as well as corporators Vinay Patil and Aparna Nawrekar were present on the occasion.



Samiti president Shekar Indu Salian, vice-presidents Narsappa K Marnad and Laxman V Belvai, honorary chief secretary Dayanand Poojary Varanga, honorary treasurer Bhoja A Mendon, and joint secretary Shekar Kanchan were also present.

The Vedic celebrations were held under the leadership of T Krishnamurti Byculla along with Ravi Karkera and Narsappa K Marnad.
