Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Apr 3: Five Bajrang Dal (BD) workers, who attacked a Muslim meat trader selling Halal meat, were arrested in Shivamogga. In the midst of this, the campaign against halal meat by the BD workers has intensified throughout the state a day after Ugadi.

Meanwhile, CM Bommai has requested the public to maintain peace and celebrate the day after Ugadi without causing any law and order issues.

The day after Ugadi, non-vegetarians in the state eat Mutton and Chicken. Righwing workers are urging Hindus not to eat Halal meat, contending it is offered to Allah and it is like showing disrespect to the Hindu Gods. They are calling people to eat only Jhatka cut meat.

Shivamogga SP B M Laxmiprasad said that two incidents of attack on Muslim traders selling halal meat were reported in Bhadravati town. One case under Hosamane police station limits another one is reported from Old Town police station limits.

Under Hosamane police station limits, five people went to a shop and asked for Jhatka meat. When the shop owner refused, the shop was closed forcefully. Officials say that one boy who was working in the shop was assaulted and his head injured.

In another incident, some miscreants went to Janata Hotel and threatened the owner not to sell Halal meat. A case in this regard is filed in the Old Town police station. One officer said that the customer who questioned the gang about this was assaulted.

In both the incidents, the same accused have been named by the victims. A case is registered against them and they have been taken into custody. The five arrested are Vadivelu, Srikanth, Krishna, Sawai Singh and Gunda as per the details provided by the SP.

First Hijab and now Halal. The only aim of BJP Gov is to harass muslims. More than bhakt officials, the supporters who justify these are the real criminals.

This drama is all pre planned by BJP and CM,since from last 4 years goverment is failed and did not do any development and the price hike is increasing day by day. This is just a gimmick of BJP to hide the real issue by fooling the people with this issues. See the caste of the people arrested, all are from the lower caste and check for any childrens of this politicians or BD or RSS leaders are arrested. This lower caste were always used to kill and die from the history and upper caste are to give order and enjoy the power and wealth. This situation will lead our beautifull country into a disaster. Petrol Price is increasing day by day, daily commodities is increasing, but this terrored goons are worried of what not to eat and what to eat.. Ever since this organization has been formed did they work for the general public?? did they protest against the price hike ?? Did they fight for any injustice happend to their own lower caste people??

One thing is sure. Now with new Party, there is no peace at all.Everyone is controller, law is gone to dogs .Police also instead of strict to law breakers ,support them .What the hell these controller have to do there and ask that meat or other when dont get go away.Instead make problems. Why cant police arrest them and punish them What right do they have to controll ?Why are Police there ?Let one eat what they want .Dont dictate others what to eat and not.One should have so much freedom.Minister is saying Yugadi ,peace and nothing else.By the way what is Jatka meat ?Simply giving trouble to some where it is not needed.
