Bantwal, Apr 3: The dreams of the freedom fighters martyred in the independence struggle has come true during the Narendra Modi's rule, said Rural Development and Panchayat Raj minister K S Eshwarappa on Sunday April 3.
He was speaking after offering the concrete road in Sri Kshetra Mitramajal of taluk's Sajipamuda village built at an expenditure of Rs 2.50 crore.
He lauded MP Naleen Kumar Kateel citing that that he organised the BJP workers in state's 224 booth 224 booth levels thus ensuring the party's thumping victory again the state elections.
Taking a dig at former chief minister Siddaramaiah and D K Shivakumar, he ridiculed that the duo had sworn to bring BJP to power again referring to their recent statements.
"Siddramaiah lost the CM's chair because of the the curse of the cows and Congress has become extinct. We are not Muslim haters but we are against traitors from the community. We won't trouble them but if they provoke the Hindus, we will not spare them," he said claiming that Dakshina Kannada was tye land where true patriots are created. He claimed that peace had prevailed in bantwal taluk because of MLA Rajesh Naik.
Expressing confidence that he had lived up to the expectations of the people, Rajesh Naik swore to do work even better. He also stated that work on constructing a road from Panemanagaluru to Nandavara would begin soon at an expenditure of Rs 10 crore.
BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel said that under Rajesh Naik the taluk had seen 40 years' growth in just four years.
Speaking on the occasion, Social Welfare and Backward classes minister announced that a Narayana Guru residential school will come in Bantwal at an expenditure of Rs 29 crore.
