Mangaluru: Yellow alert declared in Coastal region, possibility of rain

Mangaluru, Apr 5: Strange weather is prevailing since some days in the district of Dakshina Kannada. During day time sun will be harsh while it rains or drizzle in the night.

Due to the intense sunshine, pressure is created in certain areas which receive rain when wind blows on such areas.

Yellow alert is declared throughout the coastal region of Karnataka. The meteorological department has informed that the same condition will continue for one more week.

There is a possibility of rain accompanied by heavy thunder and lightning in all districts of coastal Karnataka and Malnad region.

On Monday, city recorded minimum temperature of 25 degree Celsius and maximum of 34.2 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature was one degree more than usual.

    It's almost raining everyday evening. It shouldn't rain like this during this time.. Looks like we have hit the red button "effect of global warming"..     Rain now means major damage to rock strewn beach, aided by ADB. Extra sand dunes created between the Heavy Rock barrier & the Arabian Sea will be washed away, endangering life of fishermen & their dwellings.

    Why yellow alert here ??? Let it rain na first ? Before the arrival only rainbow colours announced....!! What a viparyasa ? Please give warning colours to MCC to clear the drainages and allow the smooth flowing of water instead of causing artificial floods.....Till now, cleaning of drainges are not started...Roads are under repair like tortoise motion....
