Mumbai, Apr 5: The building belonging to Bombay South Brahmins association and Gopalakrishna Public trust renovated with modern facilities at Sion east got ready after poojas in the evening on April 5.
Senior priest of Gokula and other priests performed rituals, distributed Theerta Prasada and blessed.
BSKBA and Gopalakrishna Public trust president Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel and Vijayalakshmi Suresh Rao, treasurer CA Haridas Bhat and Asha Haridas Bhat were in charge of the poojas.
BSKBA vice president Vaman Holla and Shailini A Rao, secretary A P K Pothi, joint secretary P C N Rao and Chitra Melmane, joint treasurer P B Kusuma Srinivas, women’s wing president I K Prema S Rao, Vijayalaxmi Suresh Rao, Gopalakrishna Public trust members A S Rao, Krishna Acharya, S N Udupa, B Ramanand Rao, Avinash Shastri and devotees were present.
Poojas will be held on April 6 from 8 am. Vishwatheertha Sripada will be blessing the devotees. Veena Shastri and disciples will sing prayers. Yakshagana artistes of Gokula will perform Yakshagana play.
