Bengaluru: Much-awaited state cabinet expansion postponed yet again

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Apr 7: The much-awaited cabinet expansion of state BJP government is postponed yet again. Party top brasses have instructed chief minister (CM) Basavaraj Bommai to wait till the state executive meeting. The spirits of aspirants for ministerial position is dampened by the decision of BJP high command.

State BJP executive meeting will be held on April 16 and 17. National president J P Nadda will be arriving in the capital for the same. There is a possibility that cabinet expansion will be done after that. It is also said that the high command of BJP has not made its stand clear as various developments are taking place in state BJP as well as Karnataka.

One year is left for the completion of the present legislative assembly term. Four ministerial positions are vacant in the state cabinet. It is learnt that CM Bommai suggested high command to drop some senior ministers and include others as the list of aspirants is too large to accommodate.

Migrant MLAs Ramesh Jarkiholi, R Shankar and Srimantha Patil, who went to Delhi with the expectation of getting nod in cabinet, met CM Bommai on Tuesday night and urged him to take them into the cabinet. They also said that injustice is meted out to them as they played stellar role in BJP forming government in the state by dethroning Congress-JD(S) alliance government.

There are enough swindlers of public property already in the cabinet... Please control their intake and govern them to give more output... By adding more people you can only save your team temporarily from disobedience... But may loose public trust in 2023...

According to my prediction, those back stabbers who joined from Congress, 100% they will get ticket first to jump again to other parties. Those will not get tickets in BJP. That much sure.
