Mangaluru: Popular local artist Ravikumar killed on spot in bike-truck collision

Mangaluru, Apr 9: Ravi Kumar, an artist and well known personality in Kolya locality was killed when a truck hit his bike in the rear on Saturday April 9 morning near Ekkuru on NH 66.

Ravikumar, who was a resident of Kolya Kaneeruthota, was going towards Mangaluru city due to work. The speeding truck that was behind him drove recklessly and hit the bike which caused the death of Ravikumar instantly.

Ravikumar who was in his fifties, was into art using oil and paint for the past 35 years. In addition, he was a lover of animals, birds and nature.

He was very helpful to the people of his locality. Public in Kolya are shocked by his sudden and untimely demise.

    Driver may be of Uttar Pradesh..as usual driving recklessly under the influence of liquor as if driving on a Formula1 Grand Prix racing competition. Impound his licence and throw him behind bars. No questions asked no interrogation to be conducted. Silly drivers.
