This is the respect shown to my guru. Dr CA A Ragahavendra Rao was close to my guru. Even my guru made him the honorary president of the Paryaya committee."
Swamiji further said, “Patience is very important in life. Youth should act with patience so that they do not go in the wrong path. Unfortunately, youth do not have patience these days. Youth are taking drastic steps by losing patience over silly reasons. This is because you are living a very fast life. By losing patience, you will make foolish decisions, resulting in downfall. Hence, we should lead our life with patience and then we can find a way for our life."
Lauding the hard work of Dr CA A Ragahavendra Rao, he said, "Rao is a hard worker. He will not rest unless any work gets completed."
"Humanity should be a priority for all of us and not based on religion. We all should be good human beings and lead a life full of kindness," he added.
The students took the pledge recited by chancellor of Srinivas University Dr CA A Ragahavendra Rao while the oath was read by pro-chancellor of Srinivas University Dr A Srinivas Rao which was repeated by the students.
Dr CA A Ragahavendra Rao in his presidential address said, "Today, students have found a way of living by obtaining degrees. In the future, you will be able to support your families and others through the education you have learnt. Nearly 90% of students who passed from this college have got jobs. The remaining 10% have started their own jobs.”
"For any human being who thinks positively, this gives great pleasure. With this objective, we started our educational institutions. My father, the late Shama Rao, who was also my teacher, used to say that one should not give a fish to a man, instead, the man should be taught how to fish. Hence, the entire family is made by his teachings. This is what we are doing in our institutions. Today, what is required is professional education by which can support your family when you go out of this institution. Our institution has given training with ample skills and intensive care," he added.
He also said that institutions have set up skill laboratories to develop the skill among the students. "The college is revising the syllabus every year so that students meet the latest requirements of industries. We are aiming that students should remember the institution throughout their life,” he said.
He also stressed that students coming out of college with degrees should not end their relationship with the college. "Students should remember that this institution is your second mother. They should always remember their Alma Mater. And do not forget this relationship. Instead, come and meet your chancellors and teachers. The institutions should be remembered throughout our life," he added.
