Mangaluru, Apr 16: “Congress party leaders, who are holding protest, demanding arrest of former minister K S Eshwarappa, do not have the moral right to do so,” said state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel.
Speaking to reporters on Friday April 15, Nalin said, “DySP Ganapathi committed suicide accusing minister K J George during the tenure of Siddaramaiah. Why Congress government did not arrest George then? When Siddaramaiah was the chief minister 24 Hindu activists were murdered in the state. He should have been arrested then. KPCC president who is out on bail should have been inside the prison. Youth Congress leader Nalapad has 10 cases on him. What moral right Congress has to hold protest demanding arrest of minister Eshwarappa?
“Death note is not available at the spot of suicide by Santhosh Patil. Eshwarappa has resigned just to prevent any pressure and embarrassment to the party. But Congress is doing politics over dead body of Santhosh,” he said.
