Bantwal, Apr 17: "Kambala is an embodiment of harmony of this undivided Dakshina Kannada district," said Vikyathananda Swamiji Pitadipathi of Karnataka Arya-Ediga Mahasamsthana, Soolur.
He was speaking after inaugurating 11th Mooduru-Padooru Jodukere Kambala held under the leadership of former minister B Ramanath Rai in Kodibail of Navoora Village,Bantwal Taluk.
He also said that Kambala started under the leadership of Ramanath Rai and felt that it should spread the message of harmony everywhere.
Shri Mohandas Swamiji of Manila speaking on the occasion said, "Though we are living in era filled with hatred, violence and differences, let this Kambala be an inspiration for unity and diversity."
Kamabala Commitee honorary president, former minister B Ramanatha Rai in his presidential address said, " This Kambala has been organised in Navoora as a symbol of harmony in the society. It is due to blessing of almighty that the Kambala became a success though it was organised in a short time span."
