Moodbidri: CM Bommai inaugurates Annadasoha building in private college

Moodbidri, Apr 27: Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai who arrived at Moodbidri helipad on Wednesday, April 27 was welcomed by state minister for energy V Sunil Kumar.

The CM later inaugurated the newly constructed Annadasoha (community meals) building in a private college here.

He also addressed the students and staff of the college.

Minister of Energy, Kannada and Culture and district in charge minister V Sunil Kumar, local MLA Umanath Kotian, Coastal Development Authority president Mattar Rathnaker Hegde, deputy commissioner Dr Rajendra K V, zilla panchayat chief executive Dr Kumar, staff of Excellent Educational institute and other officers were present.

Savira Kambada Basadi seer blesses CM wishing for state's growth with communal harmony

Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai also visited the historic thousand pillar temple, known locally as Savira Kambada Basadi here. The chief minister obtained blessings from Jain seer Swastishree Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Panditacharya Varya Swamiji.

The seer issued a letter to the chief minister congratulating him on behalf of the math and blessed him wishing that Karnataka may grow towards progress like Atma Nirbhar Bharath together with communal harmony.

The seer handed over a letter of various demands including Rs 5 crore for renovation and suitable package for historic international Jain museum and Rama Rani Shoda Samstana. The chief minister prayed to Bhagawan Parshwanath Swamy and promised to try and fulfil the demands.

Dr Prabhath Balnad compered the programme and Saumyashree propose a vote of thanks.

Minister of energy Sunil Kumar, MP Nalin Kumar, Mattar Rathnaker Hegde, Krishnaraj Hegde, Udupi Raghupathi Bhat, Moodbidri MLA Umanath Kotian, former minister Abhay Chandra Jain, Patla Shetty, Sudesh, Dinesh, Adarsh, Bahabali Prasad, Poornachandra K P Jagadish, municipal council president Prasad, Indu, advocates Shwetha, Jayaraj Kambli, Nemiraj, Shanti Prasad and Padma Prasad were present.

    Communal harmony doesn’t come automatically with the blessings of the Swamiji. It depends fully on the decisions and actions of politicians of Karnataka state.
