Mangaluru, Apr 28: A rowdy sheeter was hacked to death by unidentified assailants at Yemmekere ground in Pandeshwar police station limits on Thursday, April 28 evening.
Rahul alias Kakke Rahul (25), rowdy sheeter from Hoige Bazar is the deceased. He was reportedly working at Dakke.
Police said that Rahul had three cases against him.
The body has been taken to Wenlock Hospital for an autopsy.
Police commissioner N Shashi Kumar visited the spot. The Pandeshwar police was conducting an inquest when reports last came in.
