Mumbai, Feb 13: Konkan Taram – Jerimeri offered a warm public tribute for the deposed soul of the late Sunny D’Souza, a renowned Konkani playwright, director, actor and columnist during month’s mind Holy Mass here recently. 

Sunny D’Souza, who spent larger part of his life in the metro passed away in Mangalore on December 23, 2009.
 

Fr Theo Fernandes, parish priest of St Jude Church celebrated the month’s mind mass in Konkani for repose of the soul of the late Sunny D’Souza, which was attended by his well wishers, the members of Konkan Taram - Konkani theater group.
  
Konkani dramatist Harry Boy, playwright Joker Cascia, Hotel Anubhav proprietor A M D’Souza, Victor Concesso, Eva Pinto Kalina, William Machado, dramatist Lawrence D’Souza Kamani, Frank D’Souza, Joseph D’Souza, Lawrence D’Souza Jerimeri and others were present on the occasion.
 
Konkan Taram secretary Flora D’Souza welcomed the gathering.  John R Mascarenhas spoke on the literary contributions of late Sunny D’Souza.  Konkan Taram president George Furtado proposed the vote of thanks.
