Mangaluru: KMC Hospital conducts grand finale of ‘WOWMOM’

Mangaluru, May 16: On account of International Mother’s Day, KMC Hospital Dr B R Ambedkar circle, had conducted various educative sessions and activities on women health, of which there was also a contest for pregnant women. The contestants had to participate by sending their maternity photoshoot picture and a ‘letter to their future child’. More than 200 moms-to-be had participated in this contest.

The grand finale of the contest was held at Hotel Avatar, on the evening of Sunday May 15.

The event witnessed the crowning of the WOWMOM 2022 along with edutainment session to the moms-to-be.

Carol Crasta bagged the top prize being the WOWMOM 2022 title winner. NiKitha N, Vanithashree and Soujanya bagged the first, second and third prizes respectively in the photography contest. In the letter writing contest, Nihal Rao won the first place, while Padma Prabhu and Froidy Adeline Fernandes bagged the second and third prizes respectively.

Through this event, KMC Hospital also celebrated the milestone of its 500 successful deliveries till date. The doctors and staff of team Woman & Child department along with the management team of KMC Hospital Dr B R Ambedkar circle were present during the occasion.

The best healthcare service provided in this hospital here with a specialized team of Maternity, Fetal medicine, Lamaze, Genetics & Neonatal units has enabled it to achieve this milestone.
