Karnataka reports 196 fresh Covid cases, positivity rate at 0.93 percent

Bengaluru, May 28: Karnataka on Saturday, May 25 registered 196 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 1,898. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 196.

The death toll in the state has risen to 40,064.

The state recorded 125 discharges from hospitals on Saturday, taking the total discharges to 39,09,494.

So far, Karnataka has seen 39,51,498 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.93%, so far 10,84,86,355 people have received vaccination so far.
