@Mr. Hamid.....This is done to conseal identity of the criminal. Head cover is used only when the criminals are moved amidst a crowd or when there is a possibility that someone could attack or kill the criminal. There are many instances wherein a criminal in custody may be attacked by someone in a crowd (eg: to destroy evidence or avoid interoggation).....when heads are covered and the criminal is mixed up with a group of people with similar head cover, it may be difficult to attack him specifically.

These gangsters are daredevils and affiliated to the various gangs operational in metro cities, now they are trying to establish themselves in tier I and tier II cities where financial prosperity is increasing because of increase in property prices and increase in real estate business as also rising disposable incomes amongst the locals. Unless this is tackled with an iron hand it will spread to high income groups like professionals, traders, property owners, etc.

Also one should note that most of the victims prefer to pay out rather than be on the hit list of these desperadoes.

These anti social elements will come out of bail after sometimes. We need tough law to tackle activities which are against to society. My humble request with law makers "whoever booked under anti social activities, book them toughly, so that they cannot get bail - Vivian antony N. (H-Readymix)

Good job. I just have one question. They have just been nabbed, but still not proved guility. Do they have a right to their privacy.. What does the law say about exposing their identity till they are proved guilty. It is just a question that came to my mind..

The only way to stop these crimes is to have a quick trial of such cases and the accused punished with the highest punishment for the crime.
