We should self-life to the business transport vehicles and educate the rural population dwelling along the national highways the danger of their carelessness. Our transformed good roads will become another mass killer if the road sides were not regulated and ignorant rural drivers were not taught the danger of multiple-accidents due to their careless like stopping, parking, abruptly entering into the village-roads, speeding beyond their vehicle’s capacity or rashly overtaking for reaching earlier or for competition with their business-rivals.
Our RTOs are ill-equipped, under-trained, unfit, corrupt, duty-bunkers and the officials use political influence for promotion & transfer. If we want the broader and modern roads of India to become safer to drive, we have to bring in a big change in the system and appoint young and honest Whistle-Blowers in the department to check the misdeeds of few officials and clerks in the system.
I offer my deep condolences to the families of the deceased.

This came as shocking news to me this morning, as both of my dearest professors are involved in this tragedy. I know Mr. Joshi from Moodbidri where he was working 20 years ago and I was very close to him. Mr. Nagaraj Nayak is originally from Sringeri is my very close and dear Lecturer in commerce in Bhuvenendra College and then transferred to Vijaya College Mulky. Mr. Joshi was a very down to earth person, humble and always cheerful, who was very instrumental in starting a first Karate Class in Moodbidri College for Students and he himself was my student of Karate. He was later transferred to Vijaya college Mulky as lecturer.

My heart goes out to the families of these two Great personalities who influenced my life during my student life and I condole Mr. Joshi’s untimely departure. May the lord grant him eternal peace and strength to his wife and daughters to bear this great loss. My Prayers goes out to Mr. Nagaraj Nayak for his speedy recovery from this accident.

It is really shocking for me to hear that Professor Joshi has succumbed to tragic road accident .Just last week he met me in my office and requested for some details for his doctoral studies and all details are kept ready from the hospital side and that he is to meet me this week. But it is really asad thing to know that such a great person is missing for his students and his staff friends and above all to his wife and children . May his soul rest in peace.may the Lord strengthen his family members to accept this loss.
