Bantwal: Multiple crimes accused absconding for 18 years arrested

Bantwal, Jun 6: The Bantwal rural police have arrested a criminal suspect who has been absconding for the last 18 years.

The suspect identified as Hameed alias Putha (40), son of Ahmed, residing at Krishnapur 9th block, Katipalla, Surathkal, Mangaluru has criminal cases including rioting and unlawful assembly registered against him under registration No. 90/2004 and IPC sections 143, 147, 148, 504, 323, 324 read with 149 LPC No. 01/21.

He was arrested on June 6 and produced befor the court.
