The circular says that the government employees should treat the senior citizens visiting the respective offices with respect by offering them seats to sit. The circular says that their requests should be given top priority and added that despite this circular the government had received complaints that the senior citizens were not treated well when they visited the offices.

Lets treat all our senior citizens well. But, not these politicians. Majority of politicians are above 60 .....and amassed unaccountable wealth using their crooked brain....Keeping in mind their safety, this statement is issued.....People, if any politician does wrong lets give left and right....But lets lend a helping hand to those who are around us....

The interest rates of the Senior Citizens Savings Scheme have been reduced by 80 bps. Therefore, the interest rate has been reduced from 8.6% to 7.4%. If you really worry of senior citizens then why reduce?

Dear its not foreign country. This is udupi namma kudla. Rough and tough. Henceforth dont expect seat anywhere in govt offices. If you see a chair or bench, just sit there. Some govt offices no seating facilities. That time, senior citizens should carry a folding stool just for relaxing their legs...
