Udupi: Late night fire mishap in house at Kalmady, no casualties

Udupi, Jun 9: A fire mishap occurred late night on Wednesday June 8 in a house near to Kalmady.

The house belonged to Vittal Kotian of Kalmady. The exact reason for the mishap is yet to be known.

As per sources, the house owners had put fire to drive off pests. But the fire went out of control and spread all over the place.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported. Locals and firefighters doused the raging fire.

Terrace area of the house was completely gutted in fire.
