Bidar, June 21: JD(S) Deputy Leader in the State Assembly has advocated the practice of Yoga on a daily basis for a healthy living as it will reduce the risks of heart attacks and other serious ailments.
Participating in the International Yoga Day celebration organised by the Bidar Brahmakumaris Unit at Yadalapur village in Bidar outskirts on Tuesday, June 21, he said it is the duty of everybody to properly utilise the natural gifts like air, light and water and other natural resources.
The JD(S) leader said Yoga was necessary for good physical exercise and to maintain peace as well as protect health. It is wrong to shy away from Yoga on the pretext of busy life and other responsibilities, he said stressing the need for Yoga on a daily basis.
