M’lore: It's Sessions, Knowledge Gain at National Conference on CRM at St Agnes

Mangalore, Mar 15: A two-day national conference on the theme 'Relevance of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to India', organized by the post graduate department of commerce, St Agnes College, Mangalore, concluded here on Tuesday March 15, by rejuvenating the minds of young students on the topic.
The conference aimed to create awareness of CRM and its practicability to the industry and academia. The conference was inaugurated by Allen C A Pereira, former chairman and managing director, Bank of Maharashtra, on Monday March 14.
G G Mohandas Prabhu, president, Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, D K district, was the chief guest at the valedictory ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, he threw light on what makes customers happy.
He noted that customer delight depends on the level of surprise that is supplied with the product or service, apart from the style and quality of package. Prabhu said that this kind of seminar foresees such thoughts among young entrepreneurs, which boosts the importance of customer relations.
Sr Marie Evelyn, co-ordinator for PG studies, St Agnes College, in her presidential address, said that one of the main ingredients of customer relations includes knowing customers by extending them a gesture of recognition.
