Bommai meets Nirmala before GST Council meeting in Chandigarh

Bengaluru, June 28: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai held a brief meeting with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman prior to the GST Council meeting being held in Chandigarh on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister presented a token gift and garlanded the Union Minister.

Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary N Manjunath Prasad and Commercial Taxes Department Commissioner C Shikha were present during the meeting with Ms Sitharaman.

Bommai later participated in in the 47 th two-day meeting of the GST Council being held at Chandigarh under the chairmanship of the Union Finance Minister.
