Kundapur, Jun 29: “We as Indians live peacefully in the world. Our nation that is facing hundreds of challenges has huge strength. The incident that happened at Udaipur is really condemnable. We will not bow down to any of them,” said minister of higher education Ashwath Narayan. He was speaking to news reporters at Kundapur on Wednesday, June 29.
“The people who cruelly beheaded an innocent person have shown their inferiority. They have shown their low grade plans and culture. The people should provide a fair message on behalf of their religion. There are opportunities in democracy to protect and implement their feelings, culture and religion.
“Taking law into our hands is not told in any religion. The act is done by transgressor, non-believers and scoundrels. I condemn the incident. The concerned state government should take legal action and ensure that such brutality does not recur. They should thereby give a good message,” he said.
There are plans in stages to open a government college in the district. We are preparing a special project for Udupi district under the leadership of the chief minister,” he said.
