24 IPS Officers Transferred


Bangalore, Mar 22 : Senior IPS Officer H N Satyanarayana Rao is the new Additional Director General of Police, Crime and Technical Services, Bangalore.

In a reshuffle of IPS officers, the State government on Monday appointed 1985 batch IPS officer Ashit Mohan Prasad as Additional Director General of Police, Communication, Logistics and Modernisation. In all 24 IPS officers have been transferred.

    Is there any Mangaloreans on the list? It is about time the college graduates of prestigeous colleges of DK stop thinking of being cyber coolies and try for some of the IAS/IPS positions. Though these positions pay little less than what American companies are paying, these positions are stable and powerful.

    Its not a great news. Transferring can happen, whoever may come, it doesn't matter. Only thing is crime should stop in mangalore.
